The Sleep Medicine and Research Center at King Abdulaziz University organized a two-days course on nocturnal sleep medicine and studies. Medical professionals, including doctors, nurses, and sleep technicians, attended the course. The organizers included introductory topics to familiarize the audience with sleep medicine and disorders. Doctors and specialists in the field gave lectures on various sleep-related diseases. The lectures covered normal sleep, breathing disorders in adults, and movement disorders related to sleep. Workshops on the polysemenogram technique were also conducted. The course was accredited by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties by 7 educational hours.
